We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information you have provided fairly and securely. We will only use your personal information for the purposes that we state at the point at which you provide it for us – for example, to process your orders and to provide an efficient service.

We may, from time to time, use the information we collect to inform you about important changes to the website, new services and products which we think you may find of interest. We may also send relevant, targeted e-mails to you and within these e-mails, there will be an opportunity for you to unsubscribe from future marketing campaigns. You can stop receiving our updates at any time and if you prefer that we don’t use your information to predict what you might be interested in let us know here.

We take your privacy on www.geebrothers.co.uk very seriously. This privacy and cookie policy lays out our specific commitment in compliance with and beyond the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018. Should our privacy policy change at any future date, we will ensure that these changes are made public on this page.
Sample Service

We can supply samples of the products illustrated on this web site: they are generic, i.e. not personalised. There is a charge for this service, which is refundable should you subsequently place an order.

Proofs & Cancellations

Typesetting is chargeable, but the issuing of proofs is free of charge. Colour proofs can be emailed to you, or we can send a black and white paper proof in the post. Please check all aspects of the proof before amending and approving. Two sets of changes to your proofs are free, but if more changes are requested, there will be a charge.

Cancellations made after proof stage will be charged according to the time spent typesetting the job.

Cancellations made after printing stage will be charged at the full price of the job.

Timing

Timing will vary according to season, but in general these guidelines can be followed:

For Normal service, allow up to five working days for proofing and eight to ten working days after approval of proof for despatch of goods. Please note that these are target dates and not guaranteed. During certain busy times of the year (March-June) we can take up to a week longer.

For Express service, proofs will be issued within one working day of receipt of order and the goods despatched within four to five working days of approval of proofs. There is an extra charge of £50 for the first order on Express service, and an additional £20 per order placed at the same time.

Please note all our gilded board is ordered after proof approval and as gilding has a minimum three-day turn around, the express delivery will be delayed by two days.

Delivery

For the time it takes us to print your order, please refer to the section on Timing. This section refers merely to the courier service we offer: in other words, after your job has been received, logged on, typeset, proofed, approved, sent to print, printed, finished and finally packed, how long does it THEN take for our courier service to get it to you?

The answer to that is as follows:

We offer overnight courier delivery to the UK mainland (Highlands require two working days). Worldwide deliveries are also offered, but take longer depending on destination.

Deliveries are made by courier from Monday – Friday during working hours and a signature will be required. Please ensure the address given for delivery is constantly manned during the day.

Complaints

Gee Brothers is proud of its reputation. We try our hardest to provide the very best service and the very best product. We are always concerned that customers are happy with the product supplied and will do everything in our power to remedy situations where they are not.

If for whatever reason you wish to cancel your order before printing, we will be happy to make a full refund, unless you have received a proof, in which case we will deduct the cost of typesetting the job.

If you have paid a £50 deposit for a bespoke order, but no typesetting has been done, we will be happy to make a full refund. If your job has been typeset, then we will need to deduct this from the deposit.

If you have ordered online and paid in full, but no typesetting has been done, we will be happy to make a full refund. However if the job has been typeset, then we will need to deduct this from your payment.

If you wish to reject your goods after receiving them, due to a mistake by Gee Brothers, we will either supply a free reprint or make a full refund on return of the goods.

Product Availability

The ranges illustrated on this website are subject to availability from third party suppliers.
Gee Brothers reserves the right to substitute discontinued stock items with the closest available alternatives having agreed this with you.
